Focus: Content

You will listen to a sentence and write exactly what you heard.

Tips:

Write down everything you remember from the audio.

If you’re unsure about a word or the spelling of a word, write it twice, but don’t do this for all the words.

Don’t forget to start with a capital letter and end it with a full stop.

Repeat Sentence

Focus: Fluency

You will hear a sentence and need to repeat it as fluently and naturally as possible.

Fluency is more important than content. You don’t have to repeat every single word perfectly. In fact, you don’t have to repeat every single word at all, just 50% of them is fine.

It’s more important to avoid pauses and hesitations than to remember exactly what was said.

Focus on speaking smoothly and naturally.

Don’t try to repeat the whole sentence, just 50% is fine even for higher scores.

Don’t worry if you can’t remember exactly 50% of the sentence; just repeat what you remember without pausing.
